Good. I look forward to using it. I'm typing this on a 6 year old laptop running Windows XP. I have heard virtually no negatives on W7 yet so when I upgrade early next year I'll be getting it. Microsoft's ahare price has certainly responded positively.

Hey Senan,

That could definitely be part of the reason, but would still make the sales of Windows 7 viable since there's been a hold-up for buying due to the poor response to Vista. But I still vouch for how user-friendly Windows 7 looks from what I've seen with it so far.

I wonder is the enthusiasm for Windows 7 driven by apathy towards Vista and users who've simply held out in anticipation of a better product...who can wait no longer. The coming Christmas period will give another pointer as to the resilience of the PC market. I believe growth amongst the big IT companies will lie in mobile devices. Microsoft, with Windows 7, is heading ever so slowly in this direction (it's suitable for netbooks).
